In the flurry of day-to-day life, we can easily overlook what’s right in front of us – valuable lessons we’ve learned, people who have touched our lives and opportunities to express gratitude.
So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, take a moment to consider the following questions:
1. How have you been “tested” this year? Although it might not have felt like a “gift”, what value did you get from the experience?
2. Who has given you the most support and guidance? How will you help them understand the difference they’ve made?
3. Whose performance and contributions do you want to recognize? How and when?
I hope you will take time this week to answer at least one of these questions and give thanks. Gratitude can be a huge source of energy – for you and the person receiving it.
