March is Women’s History Month, and March 8 is International Women’s Day (IWD). I am excited to celebrate IWD tomorrow at the George W. Bush Presidential Center with the Women’s Initiative Program Fellows from Egypt, to hear more about the amazing results they have achieved through the program this past year. As a faculty member and mentor for the program, it is rewarding to see their energy, confidence, and impact skyrocket throughout the year. Later on Friday, I will have the opportunity to deliver an interactive presentation to a group of women at Accenture’s IWD Celebration about Purpose, Presence, and Power – three areas proven to get results.
As you think about Women’s History Month, I urge you to celebrate by thinking about and acknowledging a woman who has impacted your life.
· What did you learn from her?
· How has it made a difference in your life?
· What would you say to her?
Before you move on to the next thing in your day or week, take five minutes to reach out to her, to let her know how she has touched you.
