Where is the Main Menu?

The Main Menu is designated by the three stacked horizontal lines in the top left corner.

  • LaunchPad – Always shows the next item to complete and where you are in the program
  • Activities – Tap “+” in any item to add Key Takeaways, My Best Practices, Custom Action Items, and Suggested Action Items. Quickly find and sort them in Menu>Activities.
  • Exercises – See previously viewed or completed exercises here.
  • Core Strategies – See previously completed content and overall program completion.
  • Reports – See your Initial Assessment results and your most recent assessment (if applicable).
  • Help – Find videos, tips, and FAQs.
  • History – See what you completed and when.
  • My Profile – View and manage your user information.
  • Sign out – Logout of the application.

I can’t move forward to the next item in the application. What should I do?

If you are having trouble moving forward, finish viewing the entire video, listening to the entire audio or viewing the entire document. Once you complete the item, tap “DONE” in the top right hand corner. This will mark the item complete and you will be able to advance to the next item in the application via the LaunchPad.

I’m not sure what to do next in the app.

Tap Menu>LaunchPad. The LaunchPad is your primary method to access all content: videos, articles and exercises. It always shows you the next item to complete in the Program.

What if I accidentally tap DONE before I finish viewing an item? How do I find it again?

To review content that you have already completed, tap Menu>Core Strategies.

How do I find content that I have previously viewed?

To review content that you have already completed, tap Menu>Core Strategies.

Why do I have to take Focus on the Right Work and Strategically Stand Out first?

The first 2 Core Strategies are required because they are foundational leadership skills that will set the context for the upcoming Core Strategies in the Program.

Why is some content not immediately accessible?

This Program provides content in a logical sequence, building upon prior key concepts and strategies as you continue through the Program.

What are Activities?

Within any content item, tap “+”to add Activities: Key Takeaways, My Best Practices, Custom Action Items, and Suggested Action Items.

 

Key Takeaway – This feature allows you to capture your insights from the content as you go. Use it to help you remember key points.

 

My Best Practice – This feature prompts you to capture what you already do well so you can more proactively apply it or teach it to others. Your Best Practices are specific strategies or tactics that consistently get results.

 

Suggested Action Item – To help you apply the content on the job, each content item includes Suggested Action items. Simply tap on the item to select it, edit it as need for your situation, and schedule it on your calendar.

 

Custom Action Item – Create your own action items to help you apply the content. Enter text, schedule the action item, and save it.

What does the “+” mean?

In an item such as a video or article, tap the blue “+” to add the following Activities: Key Takeaway, Best Practice, or Suggested or Custom action items.

 

In an Interim Check-In or Progress Check, tap the blue “+” to add the following Activities: Key Takeaway, Best Practice, or Custom Action Items.

Where can I find Key Takeaways, Best Practices, or Action Items I created?

Tap Menu>Activities. In Activities, you can view and sort all of these activities using the following filters: activity type (Key Takeaway, Best Practice, or Action Item), age or Core Strategy.

How do I reschedule an action item?

To reschedule an action item, tap Menu>Activities. Tap on the Activity that requires the change and update the date and time as needed. The app will send you another calendar event email.

How do I delete an Activity (Key Takeaway, Best Practice, or Action Item)?

To delete an Activity, tap Menu>Activities. Tap on the 3-dot symbol to the right of the Activity to delete it.

What are Favorites?

By tapping on the heart icon, you can mark an item as a Favorite. The icon will turn blue and you will see the item listed in Menu>Favorites, for easy access.

Where can I find my Favorites?

Favorites can be designated by tapping on the heart icon. You will see the icon turn blue. To unmark a favorite, simply tap the icon again. Tap Menu>Core Strategies and select the relevant Core Strategy and Section to see your Favorites for that Section. In the future, you will see a Favorites item in the Main Menu, which will make it much easier to access them.

Where can I find my Exercises?

To find Exercises that you have previously accessed, tap Menu and select Exercises.

I want to add more information to my Progress Check. Can I go back and edit it?

Yes, the Progress Check is intended to be a valuable resource to help you notice and capture your results and what is working to help you achieve them. You may continue to add to a Progress Check until you complete the entire Program. Find the Progress Check by tapping Menu >Core Strategies. Choose the Core Strategy you want. You will always see the Progress Check below the very last Section.

Where do I find the results of my Initial Assessment?

Tap Menu>Reports. You will see your assessment report.

Can I see how I originally answered the questions in my Initial Assessment?

Tap Menu>Reports. You can view your answers to the Initial Assessment by tapping on the name of the Core Strategy.

How long does the program take to finish?

The recommended length of the Program is 4-5 months. After the 8 Core Strategies have been completed in this recommended length of time, you will have 30 days take a Reassessment to see your progress.

I have finished all of the Core Strategies, why can’t I take the Reassessment?

The Reassessment is only available to you 4 months after you begin the Program. If you have navigated through the content once, use the time to review and apply the content.

How do I edit my profile?

To edit your profile, tap Menu>My Profile. Once you see the My Profile screen, tap the pencil icon on the top right corner to edit your profile.

What devices are supported?

Apple iOS devices on

    • The latest version of the Apple Operating System with the latest patches and upgrades
    • The previous Operating System with all the latest patches and upgrades if the latest version of the Apple iOS Operating System has been available for less than 3 months
      • Apple iPhone 5, iPhone 5s
      • Apple iPhone 6, iPhone 6+
      • iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s+
      • iPhone 7, iPhone 7+
      • iPad Mini 4, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro
      • PC and Laptop devices with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers installed that are updated to the latest version.

    • The latest version of the Google Android Operating System with the latest patches and upgrades
    • The previous Operating System with all the latest patches and upgrades if the latest version of the Google Android Operating System has been available for less than 3 months

What browsers are supported?

    • The latest version of the following HTML5 compliant Browsers:
      • Chrome
      • Safari on the latest version of the OS-X operating system on a Mac laptop
      • Microsoft Edge Browser on the latest version of the Windows 10+ or newer Operating System
    • Note Microsoft Explorer is not supported
    • We will add and remove supported devices and browsers over time.

What support exists for older devices?

The device must have the current OS and enough memory and support the latest version.

 

I can’t see any items to complete on the LaunchPad. What should I do?

Option 1 – Navigate to another part of the app and then return to the LaunchPad by doing the following: Tap the Menu icon. Select any other item (for example, Reports). Tap the Menu icon again. Select LaunchPad.

 

Option 2 – Close the app and reopen it (tap on the icon on your phone or access through the URL on your computer). The app should open in the LaunchPad.

 

Option 3 – Sign out and log back in. The app should open in the LaunchPad.

Option 4 – Restart your phone and log back into the app.

 

I logged in and all of my information is gone. I am back to the beginning of the program.

Please confirm that you logged in with the same email address that you used to register. If you logged in with a different email address, please log out and log back in with the original address you used.

 

I opened my Assessment Report and have reviewed it. What should I do now?

Tap the Menu icon. Select LaunchPad. The LaunchPad will show you your next step in the application

 

How can I take a screenshot on my phone so I can show you the issue I am seeing?

If you have an Android device: press and hold the Power and Volume down button at the same time.

If you have an Apple device: press and hold the Power and Home button at the same time.
